The Rowley Agency, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Holly O’Connor, CPA as Controller. O’Connor is a graduate of Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. She replaces Bruce Langley who recently retired from the 54-year-old insurance agency after 36 years, serving as Treasurer and Partner.
O’Connor began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, Massachusetts as an Audit Associate. Two years later she was named Audit Senior Associate where she supervised a team of five associates and senior associates to successfully plan and execute audits. A year later, she was named Project Management Advisory Senior Associate, where she provided project management solutions to clients undergoing complex financial reporting issues around deals. O’Connor served in that role for 18 months before being named Project Management Advisory Manager.

O’Connor will be responsible for handling all financial functions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. She will also administer the company’s 401(k) plan and will manage all agency and individual license requirements. O’Connor will work with a third-party CPA firm to compile year-end financial reporting and taxes. She will also be responsible for building and maintaining the company’s IT and security infrastructure.
